I don't know why I didn't try my hand at internet auctions a long time ago. I've been to auctions before, and found them really exciting. Sometimes I found some great deals. Other times, I've watched people spend crazy money on items they could get brand new for the same price someplace else.
Anyway, I was sitting in one of my MBA classes and the topic of EBAY (sorry to mention them) came up. As a small business owner, I'm always interested in new markets to offer my services. So, here I am--venturing into the world of online auctions. I quickly found that the other guys are much bigger than I want to deal with and much bigger than I can handle right now. It's difficult to build a reputation for yourself there, when the other sellers are so cut-throat, competitive, protective, and almost territorial. Ebay has conditioned the sellers there as guard dogs. They police each other for Ebay so Ebay's admin doesn't have to do it. I've been a member less than a month and I can see already that all it takes is a simple misunderstanding with a Power Seller and you're pretty much screwed if you too aren't a Power Seller. It's just too much for this online auction newbie to deal with right now. I'm proud of myself though. I have a 10 feedback rating already and I've been a member less than 24 days.
I decided to search the internet for other online auctions. I knew those guys couldn't be the only game in town. I found this place and noticed that it was much slower. I also saw that it was pretty new. I like that! I get to be in on something at the beginning.
Oh yeah, my introduction: I'm 30 years old. Single mother of 2 boys--ages 7 and 10. I live in WI--close to Madison. I'm a professional Career Coach and Management/Human Resources Consultant. I recently lost 75 lbs. Yeeeeaaa! I wrote all about it and outlined exactly how I did it. The manual is for sale here on SpeedyBid. I also tutor high school and college students in English, helping them develop their writing skills. I help career individuals with their written communication skills also.

hi there im not new to computers or auctions this is how i put food on the table actually  i dont do ebay though to expensive and a lot of people are very mean  i like small place like here very freindly i sell all kinds of stuff everything is brand new and wow you lost all that weight i have a 2yr old i used to weigh 120 pounds now 150 i HATE IT but i dont do diets lol i hate to not eat but wtg on that i hope you are very succesful here and ill take a look at your uctions have a super day

The manual isn't there anymore. Sorry! Also, I've become somewhat of an auction enthusiast these days. I started my own auction message board and resource site. Check it out at http://theauctionboard.com
I think you'll like it. I don't have an auction site, just the message board. I started it to help people market their small auction sites and to help eBay sellers market themselves. Most of the ad space is free. Wooo hoo!

as you can see I'm new here, I like to search for NEW auctions site, I was selling on ebay, Oh GOD the Devil...Is very hard tthe competition and NOW with the NEW Rules your are not allow to leave the truth about obuyers and seller when they are irresponsible.....Thats why I star searching for NEW site, AND walla I found this one, I like what I see....
I'm married for 21 years, 3 kids, housewife, but I help my husban, with the bills selling on internet.....
Hey wholesale2u I think you are the same but I think you are in other incredible auctions site that I will no be name it.... because your name is not commond....
Well Genia, sell and buy is great, you earn money but also spend it LOL, but what we can do...I'm in the selling area for 4 years, have a great experience and only 1 bad when I start....
